18% GST Tax Slab


  • Preserved Vegetables
  • Dairy Products including Ice Cream
  • Beverages such as Mineral Water
  • Food Items such as  Pasta, Corn Flakes,  Cakes, Pastries,Soups, Instant Food Mixes, Processed Foods, Flavoured refined sugar
  • Footwear above ₹ 500
  • Branded Garments
  • Stationery such as  Fountain Pens, Envelopes
  • Personal Hygiene such as  Toilet Paper, Hair Oil, Tissues,Soap Bars, Toothpaste
  • Iron & Steel Products
  • Electronic Equipment such as  Monitors, Printed Circuits

28% GST Tax Slab


  • Beverages such as Aerated Water
  • Food Items such as  Chewing Gum, Chocolates,Custard Powder
  • White Goods such as  Shavers, Washing Machines, Hair Clippers,  Vacuum Cleaner, Dish Washers, Water Heaters & other Home Appliances
  • Personal Hygiene such as  Shaving Cream, After Shave,  Deodorants,Hair Shampoo,  Sunscreen, Perfume, Dye,  Detergents, Face Creams
  • Cameras
  • Speakers
  • Housing Materials  such as  Wallpaper, Paint, Ceramic Tiles, Cement
  • Weighing Machines, ATM, Vending Machines
  • Fireworks
  • Motorvehicles and automobiles( classified under Luxury / Demerit Goods which will also attract a compensation cess over and above the GST rate of 28%)
